Grade 5 Latin America Fair

Fifth grade students recently held their annual Latin America Fair.  The fair, which is in its 5th year, has been an annual staple in the fifth grade Social Studies and ELA curriculum. Students spent close to a month researching and crafting extensive reports on various Latin American countries.  Accompanying their reports were slide presentations and ethnic dishes native to that culture. At the fair, students displayed their reports, flags and ethnic dish recipes proudly.  Over 150 guests attended the fair were able to sample the variety of dishes made by the students.  Everyone walked away a little more ful-"filled".  Congratulations to all of the 5th grade presenters!
