THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

The Menands School PTA would like to thank everyone who helped make our annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser a great success again this year. Whether you helped set up, worked a shift on the food service tables, baked a delicious dessert, donated a raffle item, sold tickets for dinner or the raffles, directed our 7th grade volunteers, cooked, prepped or served food, cleaned up the mess afterwards, or just came for good food and conversation – we appreciate you! We are indebted to Sheri Habbinger for her hard work in chairing the dinner.  She worked tirelessly organizing the event.

A special thank you to our committee chairs: Sue Volo and Lorenz Herrmann (kitchen and 7th grade coordinators), Valecia Parker (ticket sales), Cindy Price (desserts), Kristi Hayes (soda/salad table), Nancy Dignum and Tarasha McCoy (raffle table), Lisa Neuman (entertainment) and Paul DeDominicis (gym clean up). We had a very healthy 50/50 prize this year thanks to Mary Beth Rossier’s dedication and hard work.

We also thank the local businesses that so graciously donated food and supplies (Golub Corp., Bella Napoli Bakery, Brickman Produce, HP Hood, Morgan Linen, Burger King - to name a few). And as always the Menands School custodial staff assisted with everything from start to finish, we couldn’t do it without you. Our chefs and kitchen crew, Sheri Hayes, Principal Toni Schroeder and Aileen Nicoll kept the line moving smoothly all evening. Even our Superintendent, Kathy Meany, lightened our load by pitching in with kitchen cleanup.

To our teachers and staff who worked a shift in the gym, in the kitchen or wherever they noticed help was needed, we sincerely appreciate all your efforts. And thank you for collecting ticket orders in your classrooms and getting the tickets back to the students during our ticket pre-sale program.
For all the 7th grade students who volunteered their time at the salad, beverage, dessert, raffle and take-out tables, and helped setup and cleanup, your service to the PTA and families of the Menands community is graciously appreciated and will be rewarded through our 7th grade service award program. A special thank you to the many 7th grade parents who worked alongside their children.
