Dear Parents and Families,
I know many of you had the opportunity to participate in one or more of the parent forums that were held over the past two weeks. If you did not have the opportunity, the videos of all three forums are posted on our webpage. Also posted is the FAQ that has been created, addressing those questions that have been asked during the forums, and which will continue to be updated. By Monday at the latest, the FAQ will reflect all questions that have been asked to date.
The majority of families have utilized our online survey to indicate their choice for instruction for the start of school, either in person or remote. If you have not yet done so, you can expect a call from a school staff member.
A number of questions have arisen around teacher assignments, schedules and materials and supplies needed for the start of the school year. This is in part contingent upon having the completed surveys. Additionally, we are working to streamline and minimize required materials and supplies, and try to provide as much as we are able to for our students. Much of this information is typically part of our “summer mailing”; we hope to finalize and get this mailing out, with as much detail as possible, by the end of next week.
Despite the differences and challenges the start of this school year may bring, we are excited to welcome our students back. If there are continued questions that you have, or assistance we can provide, do not hesitate to reach out.
