Just a reminder for those members of the public in attendance.  This is one of two opportunities afforded members of the public to comment on or inquire about agenda items. Members of the public also have an opportunity at the end of the evening’s agenda to ask questions or voice concerns or comments on matters not formally noted on the agenda.  We appreciate everyone’s cooperation.

Resignations

Erin Jankowski- Library Media Specialist

Enclosed for the Board is a letter from Erin Jankowski dated July 10, 2019, resigning  from her position as the Library Media Specialist from the Menands Union Free School District effective July 10, 2019.

Resolution BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Menands Union Free School District accepts the letter of resignation from Erin Jankowski, dated July 10, 2019, resigning from her position as the Library Media Specialist from the Menands Union Free School District effective for July 10, 2019.

Raymond Perricone- Food Service Helper

Enclosed for the Board is a communication from Raymond Perricone resigning from his Food Service Helper position from the Menands Union Free School District effective July 25, 2019.

Resolution BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Menands Union Free School District accepts the resignation from Raymond Perricone, dated July 25, 2019, resigning from his position as Food Service Helper from the Menands Union Free School District effective for July 25, 2019.

 Mary Barno – Elementary Teacher

Enclosed for the Board is a letter from Mary Barno resigning from her Elementary Teaching position from the Menands Union Free School District effective July 31, 2019.

Resolution BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Menands Union Free School District accepts the letter of resignation from Mary Barno dated July 31, 2019, resigning from her Elementary Teaching position from the Menands Union Free School District effective for July 31, 2019.

Donna Graham – Special Education Teacher

Enclosed for the Board is a letter from Donna Graham dated resigning from her Special Education Teaching position from the Menands Union Free School District effective July 31, 2019.

Resolution    BE IT RESOLVED  that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the Board of Education of the Menands Union Free School District hereby accepts the resignation of tenured teacher Donna Graham, effective July 31, 2019; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Education notes for the record that at no time did the Commissioner of Education direct Ms. Graham’s reinstatement to a teaching position in the District.
