This year’s Field Day will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 14 on the Menands School Upper Field/Tennis Court/Gymnasium. The rain date is Monday, June 17.
Students, parents and staff are invited to participate in a fun-filled day of games and activities. To make this a successful event from start to finish for our students, we will need lots of help with setting up, running stations and cleaning up.
Come and join the kids for lunch. Grades K-6 will be eating from 11:30 a.m. to noon and Grades 7-8 will eat at 12:30 p.m. Remember, if you are bringing lunch for your child, do not order or pay for school lunch.
If you are available to help out in any way possible on Field Day please fill out this form and return it to the school. Please do not hesitate to volunteer, we can use as many helping hands as possible. We need everyone’s help to make this a FUN and SAFE day for the kids.
Given the nature of the building project, activities and stations will be held in different areas from past years. Field Day activities will take place in the following locations:
- Menands School Tennis Courts
- Menands School Upper Playground Field
- Menands School Gymnasium and Cafeteria
Students should bring:
- Water Bottles,
- Sneakers, and
Students should plan on getting wet during some of the activity stations. Proper footwear is required for Tug-Of-War.
Cars, parents, and/or students are NOT allowed to use the school walking path entrance due to construction. Activities will NOT take place on the lower soccer field due to construction.
