Sept. 11 message from Dr. Long and Mrs. Cannavo

Dear Parents and Families,

We are so excited to for our first day of school this Monday, September 14th!  We have spent the week finalizing all the preparations to welcome our families back.

A few final reminders and updates:

  • Students participating remotely should have picked up all materials and supplies this week. If for some reason you were unable to do so, please give us a call.
  • For students attending in person, a daily attestation is required. The attestation can be accessed at and must be completed for each in person student daily by 7:30 a.m. Students who answer “no” to all questions are able to attend school. In the event of a “yes” response, students should be kept home, and contact made with the school nurse for further guidance.
  • For all families, we have some great technology resources available for both parents and families, posted on our web page, and found directly at The attestation app is linked to this page as well.

It may look and feel a little different this year, but the first day of a brand new school year is always a momentous occasion worth celebrating! So let’s see those back-to-school photos! Whether it’s on your front porch, at your child’s at-home work station or waiting for the school bus. Please send your photos to We will accept pictures through Sept. 15. Photos of students in all grade levels are welcome. We will compile all of our first day photos into a Facebook album and feature some of them on our website and in the yearbook. We look forward to welcoming your children back to school and we wish everyone a wonderful start to the year!

Our school website is the most current and up to date source of information. As always, if you have any questions, or if there is assistance or clarification we can provide, do not hesitate to contact us.
