Sept. 17: Friday Update

Dear families,

Thank you all for your continued partnership as we acclimate to the new school year. With your cooperation and assistance both arrival and dismissal have gone much smoother. Thank you for your continued patience and caution during these times to ensure the safety of all of our students.

A few important dates and reminders for next week:

  • The PTA will hold their first meeting of the school year VIRTUALLY, Wednesday Sept. 22 at 6:30 p.m. The link will be sent out directly to members and can also be accessed on the PTA Web Page
  • Parent’s Night is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. This will also be virtual due to high community transmission rates of COVID-19. The links will be posted to our website, and a reminder “Messenger Notification” will be sent out earlier in the day on Thursday.
  • We are working to reinstate some after school club offerings for students in the very near future. Be on the lookout for more information, as soon as next week, about offerings and how to sign up.

The COVID-19 transmission rate in Albany County continues to be high (red);  all current safety protocols will remain in place. Please remember, if your child is ill or experiencing symptoms, keep them home from school and contact our school nurse for further guidance.

As always, should you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out. Have a wonderful weekend!
