Just a reminder for those members of the public in attendance. This is one of two opportunities afforded members of the public to comment on or inquire about agenda items. Members of the public also have an opportunity at the end of the evening’s agenda to ask questions or voice concerns or comments on matters not formally noted on the agenda. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation.
Teagan Decker read a letter in regards to the opening plan for September and her thoughts on having to wear a mask to school.
Mr. Masline read an email from Mrs. Jaskula in regards to her children’s experience from the past school year. She thanked the staff for all of their hard work throughout the year.

Opening Plan: Dr. Long presented updated information to the board in regards to the opening plan for September 2021.

A. Opening Plan
BE IT RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the Board of Education approves the Opening Plan developed for the Menands Union Free School District for the 2021-2022school year and hereby authorizes the Superintendent of schools to amend, modify and/or update the Opening Plan as needed subject to further Board approval in the event of substantial revisions to the plan.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Menands Union Free School District approve the following clerical substitutes as per the approved salary schedule, for the 2021-2022 school year.
