Students raise over $3,000 for Kids Heart Challenge

Students in grades K-5 recently participated in the Kids Heart Challenge, a service-learning program through the American Heart Association. Through this program, students learned heart-healthy habits, participated in activities such as jump roping during P.E. class and fundraised for the cause.

The Menands School has participated in the Kids Heart Challenge for the past 7 years. This year, students surpassed their $3,500 goal and raised a record-breaking $3,737.35 for the American Heart Association.
