Registration is underway for kindergarten in the Menands School.
Parents and/or guardians of any youth in the village who will 5 years old by Dec. 1, 2026 should register their child now for Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year.
In order for us to plan to meet the needs of all our new students and schedule kindergarten screenings, we ask that all families register their children by the Friday, April 10, though the school maintains open enrollment.
Early registration ensures the student can participating in Kindergarten warm-up week and all the fun activities that go along with it!
Families that intend to register their children may access the online registration portal on the Menands School website under registration. Upon completion, a the registrar will contact you.
All children need to be registered for kindergarten, including children who:
- Attend Menands Pre-K programs
- Receive services through CPSE
- Have older siblings in the Menands Schools
- Are district residents attending private or charter schools for kindergarten
