The Spring Scholastic Book Fair will be held from Friday April 29 to Friday May 6 in the Library Media Center. Students will have two opportunities in-school to attend the book fair: first to look at the book offerings and create a wish list, the second to make their selections for purchase. Scholastic has created a new cashless system for families to pre-load funds to an e-wallet for students to use to shop. More information is available on the Scholastic website.
The library will host a Family Shopping Night on the final day of the book fair, which will take place during the PTA’s Family Fun Night from 4-6 p.m. During the Family Shopping Night, students may enter to win one of three raffle prizes which will include book selections for K-2, 3-5 and 6-8.
Additionally, the library is seeking student (Grade 5 and up) and family-member volunteers to assist with the book fair operations. Sign up information is available on the Menands School Scholastic webpage.
