Two candidates are vying for two seats on the Menands Board of Education.
Jason Hoffman and incumbent Patrick Semexant are seeking the two spots on the board.
There is one four-year term on the board that commences on July 1, 2025, and expires on June 30, 2029. The second term is for the remaining balance of an unexpired term that commenced on July 1, 2021, and expires on June 30, 2026. The successful candidate for that post will be eligible to take office immediately upon being elected and duly qualified.
Voters may vote for two people, one for each of the vacant seats.

The candidate receiving the highest number of votes will be elected to the four-year term and the candidate with the second highest number of votes will be elected to fill the remainder of the unexpired term.
