MIT 5 Students Collect Books
MIT 5 students held a book drive to benefit the Bernard and Millie Duker Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center. At our most recent Buy-One-Get-One Book Fair held in April students collected books and money to buy new books for the children. They had a great time picking books out with money raised, and because it was a BOGO fair the collected money went twice as far. Almost 100 books were donated thanks to the generosity of our school community. (photo)

Menands School Expands High School Choices
Menandsgraduates have always had the unique opportunity to select from designated high school choices. We are very excited that we have worked this year to increase the available choices from three to five, thus expanding the options and opportunities available to our graduates. In the 2015 -16 school year, students will have the option of attending Heatly Junior/Senior High School, Shaker High School, South Colonie High School, Tech Valley High School, or Watervliet Junior/Senior High School. This year we held a high school fair where the members of the Class of 2015 and their parents could meet representatives from the different high schools. (information) (photos 1) (photos 2)
