Early dismissal on Dec. 16 for parent-teacher conferences

Menands School will dismiss early on Wednesday, Dec. 16 to accommodate parent-teacher conferences.  Remote schedules will be adjusted accordingly.  In-person K-5 students will be dismissed at 11:20 a.m. for Bus Dismissal and 11:30 a.m. for Parent Pick Up.  All 6-8 students will all be dismissed at noon.

Picture Retake Day set for Monday, Dec. 7

Picture Retake Day will be held on Monday, Dec. 7. In-person students will have their pictures taken from 12-2 p.m. From 2:30-6 p.m., time slots will be available for remote students to have their photos taken at school. A link to a digital sign-up form will be emailed.

The 2020 virtual pumpkin contest was met with much enthusiasm by the Menands School community. Students, teachers, and the superintendent showcased their creativity by crafting a variety of pumpkin characters such as the Velveteen Rabbit, Dog Man, Sherlock Holmes and Harry Potter.
