Dear Menands Families,
Due to the unique circumstances from the pandemic, our school lunch fund has an excess fund balance that must be exhausted. We are taking this opportunity to provide all meals at no charge to students.
The change in meal pricing began on Monday, February 5. Any balance remaining in your child’s school lunch/breakfast account will be maintained, and can be utilized for snacks, ice cream etc. All funds remaining will be rolled over at the end of the school year.
The district will work with families of eighth grade students to refund any remaining school lunch funds.
