2022-23 budget passes with 83 percent approval
On May 17, Menands Union Free School District voters approved (165 to 33) a $10.8 million spending plan for the 2022-23 school year. Under the approved budget, spending will increase by $545,987 over the current year. The spending plan continues all current student programs, services and student supports. Annual budget vote and Board of Education election on May 17
On Tuesday, March 17, Menands voters will have the opportunity to vote on the $10,821,622 proposed budget for the 2022-23 school year. Under the proposal, spending would increase by $545,987 over the current year. The increase is offset by significant revenue generated from Foundation Aid.
