Resolution BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Menands Union Free School District approve the enclosed budget transfers for April 2021. 

Treasurer’s Report 

Enclosed is the Treasurer’s report for the month of April 2021.

Resolution BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Menands Union Free School District, upon recommendation of the Policy Committee, approve the final reading of the following policies.

13. PERSONNEL MATTERS

 

    Termination  

Employee # 1009 

Resolution BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Menands Union Free School District approve the termination of employee #1009 from the Menands Union Free School District effective June 30, 2021.

 

Appointments

Civil Service Appointment – Kevin McCormick- 1.0 FTE Maintenance Mechanic – Probationary

Resolution BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Menands Union Free School District approve the probationary appointment of Kevin McCormick(pending fingerprint clearance) to the Civil Service Labor Class 1.0 position of Maintenance Mechanic effective June 7, 2021 with compensation according to the current non-instructional salary schedule. The probationary appointment period will be 52 weeks from June 7, 2021 through June 7, 2022.

Unpaid Leave

Unpaid Leave of Absence -Caitlin Kennedy Elementary Teacher

Caitlin Kennedy has requested to take an unpaid leave of absence for the remainder of her 12 week FMLA period from May 20, 2021 through June 30, 2021.

Resolution BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Menands Union Free  School approve the unpaid leave request from Caitlin Kennedy from May 20, 2021 through June, 30, 2021.

Substitute Teachers – Fully Cleared

Resolution BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Menands Union Free School 

District approve the following substitute teachers for the 2020-2021 school year.

CSE/CPSE Recommendations 

Resolution BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Menands Union Free School District approve the CSE/CPSE recommendations as submitted.

Health Services Contract  

Enclosed please find copies of the 2020-2021 Health Services Contracts for students  attending private or parochial schools in the following districts:

North Colonie School District- (16) students in the amount of $11,974.56.
South Colonie School District- (3) student in the amount of $2,337.27.
                                   *The residence of the students has been verified.

Resolution BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Menands Union Free School District approve the 2020-2021 Health Services Contracts for students  attending private or parochial schools as listed. 

 Menands UFSD/Public Library Vote & Elections – May 18, 2021 – Election Officials

Resolution BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Menands Union Free School District appoint the following as Board of Registration and Election Officials for the May 18, 2021 budget vote and elections.
