Two dozen Menands School choir members took part in national singalong on June 2.
Students in grades 6-8 joined hundreds of counterparts from around the region in singing a myriad of songs during a 90-minute American Young Voices event at the MVP Arena.
The June 2 singalong followed an international singalong that took part earlier this year and that saw more than 350,000 singers across 30 countries join together online in what was billed as “global celebration of music” when they performed the same specially arranged Wicked medley.
