Nine high school seniors returned to their roots on Thursday, visiting the Menands School where there educational careers took flight.
The high school seniors—who are graduating from Shaker, Tech Valley and Lansingburgh—were treated like stars at the Menands School, introducing themselves to cheers during an assembly and then making a walk of champions out of the gymnasium and through a wing of the grades PreK-8 school.
The graduates are heading to colleges, such as Purdue University and the University at Albany, and pursuing careers ranging from mechanical
engineering to nursing.
