Schools no longer able to serve free meals to all; Application for free or reduced-price meals now available for the 2022-23 school year
Dear Menands families, The federal waivers in response to the pandemic which allowed free school meals to be provided to all students will discontinue for the upcoming school year. Due to this change, families will need to complete and submit a free/reduced meal application to determine if your child is eligible for free or reduced-price …

Sudden Cardiac Arrest Prevention Act
The Dominic Murray Sudden Cardiac Arrest Prevention Act is a new law as of July 1, 2022. It requires schools, students, and parents/guardians to be informed about sudden cardiac arrest risks, signs and symptoms. Fifth graders host Latin American Festival
Students in Ms. McQuade’s fifth grade class presented research projects on their chosen Latin American countries as a part of the fifth grade Latin American Festival. Parents were invited to listen to students talk about the geography, language and culture of their respective countries.
